Last week, Flayva food hall, and Allo Beirut, the acclaimed Lebanese street food restaurant, made history by presenting the biggest shawarma tasting event ever.
Flayva Food Hall in Dubai
This event set a new Guinness World Records title. 312 people participated in the Shawarmathon, which was held in the Al Ghurair Centre. They shared more than 900 shawarmas of three delectable flavors, all of which were prepared and served by Allo Beirut.
Students from Middlesex University Dubai also participated in the event, which was crucial to the record’s confirmation. Their team of students, who served as a stand-in for the Guinness World Records attempt, kept an eye on the event the entire time.
Two witnesses were sent to supervise the record attempt, while three stewards divided the participants into three batches and made sure each person sampled all three shawarmas. This procedure made sure the record attempt complied with all official Guiness World RecordsTM requirements.
Black Spoon Group CEO Charbel Mhanna expressed their immense pride in joining Flayva Food Hall at the Al Ghurair Centre for this historic occasion. Shawarma is not merely a meal.
Setting a world record, Flayva Food Hall, in collaboration with the renowned Lebanese street food concept Allo Beirut, has transformed Dubai’s culinary scene by showcasing the city’s culinary legacy on a worldwide scale at the Al Ghurair Center and food hall.
